How can my neighbors dog be helped. One already ran away so I cant help him. Ive been feedeing the other through the fence. It is hard to see him walk in mud and pee. Do you think the owner would give him up. They dont care about any dogs except the Y orkies they own. Oh yah I did try reporting it.

When I left after feeding him he barked wanting me to come bck. It snowed a few days ago and now that its melted he has mud all over him! No one cares. How do I convince my mom to let me save him. I have saved $200 dollars in 4 years and would spend it all to help him.

See if they will take a small sum of money for him! Itll be worth every penny to see him get out off that situation. If there not so keen tell them u'll report them for animal crulety again! Good luck
Even if you only pay for the dog and dont keep him its still worth it! Tell your mum you just want to kepp him for a few days till you find him a new home. She will probably fall in love and want to keep him aswell!

What has happened before when I have seen a similar situation is this....................I had asked the owner to give up the dog and I would pay for the medical cae and rehome the dog. They did not want that. I got them a dog house, food, and bowls. Conditions got WORSE. They still did not feed the dog daily.
One day, I went over and the dog was gone. They said it got loose or something. Bummer.
(Perhape SOMEONE came and took it in the night and got it a better life?????)....we may never know.

Yes...reporting it is a FARCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh yes, I also do not condone the theft of a persons dog. Never. Well...hardly ever. Only sometimes. Maybe.

If your neighbors are neglecting this poor dog to this degree, it's pretty obvious they don't want him. Please check with them to see if you could adopt him. We have very strict laws here about how animals (and children, etc.) are to be treated, so it's hard to imagine a town/city that doesn't have the same strict laws. If your neighbors say they don't want to give the poor dog up, then I'd be very tempted to rescue him while they aren't there, but I'd bet they'd be glad to no longer have that responsibility.

Maybe someone could help this one "disappear" as well. Not that I condone theft, of course, but I REALLY hate people having an animal with such unconditional love and abusing that love and trust.

Too bad I don't live closer...
