Both these women are muslim and vocal critics of the faith from an islamic perspective, yet they have been threatened into silence by violent people.

Muslims believe in jihad and not in free speech. Any and ALL muslims who say they believe in any western values like free speech are simply practicing deception as part of jihad. This is a repeating and pervasive pattern in Islam. They pretend that they are nice people, then stab you in the back (literally, not figuratively). Whole cultures and peoples have been washed away in a tide of blood via this technique. Islam has never had a period in its history when it wasn't actively engaged in this.

I went to the URL and read the contents. This isn't so much a response to you as it is to the Muslims who still defend Islam and deny the obvious. Is our good Muslims friend that posted here suggesting that this lady knew nothing of Islam?

Not all Muslims believe in free speech, in fact many leaders of religious groups and even governments find the concept a bit of an annoyance.

Muslim women have freedom of speech here in the uk and are allowed to say what they want and when someone else voices there oppinion they dont like it and brand people as racist but in the east they are not even allowed to voice there oppinion and if they do they are killed they say its there right to wear a veil well its our right to voice our oppinion whether they like it or not

It's not just Muslims, it's Christians too. They believe in free speech but let someone say they don't believe in God and they want to kill them. It's a religious belief, and it's not segregated by any one religion.
