1Co 1:21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

Oh, so they believed, but did not know. Then what did they believe, the tooth fairy? If they believed in Jesus, that is all that is necessary. That is what the trinitarians believe. I know more about them than you could possible imagine. I was in that world for longer than you have probably been alive.

Have you ever made a fool of yourselve? Have you ever made a fool of youselve for God? Preaching is a foolish act you hav to stand in plain view of everyone, pretending you know what your saying and I say pretending because we know nothing, it is God who doesit all. preaching is a brave and foolish act, but it is what God wants from us, we can not be ashamed of what we belive and preaching is a sign of not being ashamed.

1 Corinthians 1:21-25 states:

"For since in the wisdom of God the world did not come to know God through wisdom, it was the will of God through the foolishness of the proclamation to save those who have faith.

For Jews demand signs and Greeks look for wisdom, but we proclaim Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, but to those who are called, Jews and Greeks alike, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.

For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength."

This means that true wisdom and power are to be found paradoxically where one would least expect them, in the place of their apparent failure.

To human eyes the crucified Christ symbolizes impotence and absurdity.

With love in Christ.

I think a lot of it has to do with pride, because God hates pride. Many people who are prideful believe that they know everything when they don't in reality, which is why the message is foolishness to them. Jesus said that if you fall on him you will be broken (your pride) and saved, but if he falls on you then you will be crushed.

It simply means that a man should have enough Faith in God without being preached to. Get it?
