Notify the powers that be exactly what medications you are taking. This is something you should have informed them of before you took the drug screen. Ask to retest and use only those meds that have been prescribed for you. Find out what they want you to do. They may want you to bring your prescribed meds with you to the retest.

Poppy seeds won't cause a false positive for amphetamines. Eaten in extremely large quantities, they may cause a false positive for opiates (narcotics), though.
I don't believe that any of those drugs should cause a false positive for amphetamines. Perhaps, any of them that have decongestants, like the Nyquil or Robitussin, but I doubt it.
The only drugs I know of that would cause a positive result (and this wouldn't be a FALSE positive, because these drugs actually are amphetamines) would be things like Adderall, Ritalin, and Concerta, and some of the older diet drugs. If you're not taking diet drugs or drugs for ADHD, you should be okay.
Emeraldeyes makes a good point - if you got a false positive because of one of the drugs you listed, bring that to the attention of the people administering the test and request a test at a hospital lab. Much more accurate and should clear you.

Its really hard now to prove that at the time she was not on drugs like cocaine because she already tested positive. The only thing would be to do what your doing by taking a test to show her parents you are clean and for her to have another test done to show that since the attempted suicide she has been clean. I know you want to believe your girlfriend but chances are she did have trace amounts of those drugs in her system at the time she tried to kill herself. Whether she snorted coke or it was laced (maybe without her knowing) on something else. I hope her family is not just concentrating on the drugs but also the reasons why she tried to kill herself and get her some serious help. Usually, when someone attempts suicide they are just calling out for help and don't really want to take their own lives... but she may end up doing that with her next suicide attempt. Take Care.

Nyquil or other cold/sinus medications can cause false-positive results for AMPHETAMINES, along with any kind of over the counter diet pill, or anything that contains ephedra. Anytime you take a drug test, you should be sure to let WHOEVER know what kind of medications you are on.

Been there....Done that! Came up positive for meth due to the diet pills and sudafed (because of the pseudephedrine in it to relieve congestion) I was taking. If you go to your own doctor and have them do a good drug test on you (unlike those kits they probably used on you, as they did me), it will clear you. It took a week to get the results back, but it was sure worth it! Also, ADD & ADHD meds could also show up as meth.

Poppy seed bagels or muffins can cause a false positive on a drug test. Because poppies come from opium.

So far as I can tell, none of them. Though nyquil and robitussin aren't drugs they are brand names, ... look on the sides to see if they contain pseudoeffedrine.

good luck with that...you tell the testing agency what you take legally, and then they make the determination.
