$$$$$$$$$$$$########&&&&&&&&&&&******* I tried emailing you regarding your other question, but it says your email has not been confirmed*****##########&&&&&&&&&&&$$$$$$$$$$$

All those signs above were to hopefully catch your eye because I had to go back and edit this.

I've posted this several times and everytime it has been chosen as the best answer, don't worry about the prices, you are investing in a great flat iron that due to its technology will not damage your hair as much and will also give you excellent results, in addition, you are buying a flat iron that will last you for years to come, so the price you pay for it is not much of a factor when you look at it that way. Hope this helps.

1st of all I'm not gay, but I do like to take care of my hair and look good, if any women think that there is something wrong with that, by all means please let me know, I appreciate your honesty.

Do not settle for cheap brands, theres a difference between flat irons. You want the ones that have ceramic plates, the most popular is the CHI and even though they achieve wonderful results, they break down easily and thus ruin your $100 investment. Solia, FHI, and HAI are also good but work differently depending on hair type and are slightly cheaper.

The best flat iron however is the Sedu. It has ceramic plates and uses tourmaline which is a precious stone that gives off negative ions which are good for your hair. Check out Folica.com and see all the before and after pictures....there are about 10 pages of pictures on the 1 1/2" Sedu...or you can go for the 1" inch if you want more control.

However, there is always the GHD with the cheapest at $190....they are excellent but it just depends on if you are willing to spend that much, by the way GHD's are Englands best and most popular iron, and in a few years they will be America's as well.

Chi's break down too much, and if you by them online, their warranty will not be honored....the CHI Turbos are even worse!!!

SEDU is the greatest...if you want proof...go to foica.com and check out the pics of the users that have sent in in the reviews of the 1 1/2' SEDU....you can also go with the 1 inch one if you like...

So at $120 and a great life span....not only SEDU is the best hair straightener as far as results are concerned, it also the best deal....

Hope I've been a great help.

If you really want a good straightener then I suggest you get a CHI. It cost more then $50 but I'm telling you it really works. Buying a straightener for less then $50, I don't think you'll find a good one sorry, you'll probably find an okay one. What I suggest is you getting your hair permanetly relaxed (Japanese way) it cost lots of money, but it's worth it! You won't have to deal with straightening your hair. It won't really damage your hair as long as you take good care of it, and remember to keep moisture on your hair etc.

Don't blow dye your hair every time after you wash it that will dye out your hair. For a straightener use either Revlon or CHI. To add shine to your hair get a bottle of CHI silk infusion it cost about $5 for a small bottle. After your done straightening your hair pour a little bit (should be big as a quarter)into the palm of your hand. Then work evenly though out your hair. It will add shine to your hair and make it look healthy.

my hair was da same way, umm take a shower at night and DON'T BLOW DRY IT let it dry naturally and use a white revelon flat gold plated straightner, it's only 20.00 and i garentee ur hair will be still be shiny and healthy looking, but wen it's hot nothing will keep it from being frizzy, oh and after u straighten it take a dryer sheet and rub it down hour to hour, it helps keep it shiny and lessons down da frizz

I went to Sally's and got an ion straightener. Before I use it I spray my hair with this stuff called "turn up the heat flat iron protection". Beyond the Zone makes it which you also can get at Sally's. It helps with the damage and makes your hair shiny.

CHI is the best, but it run no less than $100. Revlon is supposed to work good too though. I have heard that conairs are only good for very thin hair? not sure if that is true or not.

Try using a Anti-Frizz serum on your hair before you blow dry it. I use GHD's there about the best on the market.
