I really like the way my facial hair looks after 1-2 days without shaving: that light stubble, more than a 5 o'clock shadow, but not yet a beard. But the problem is: it doesn't stay this way. It keeps growing, and then I don't like anymore, and I have to shave it again down to nothing, and let it grow back to the length I like. It's like a never-ending cycle, and my beard growth only looks the way I like it 1/2 the time, or less.

Is there any way to keep it looking the way I like for a longer perdiod. i.e. any way to shave it, but instead of shaving it clean, just shave it down to the 1-2 day stubble look? I can't really comprehend how this would be possible, but I thought it was worth asking.

I asked this question yesterday and didn't get enough responses, so I'm asking it again now. One person suggested some sort of clipper, but I'm really not sure what they're talking about. If you are going to suggest a clipper, could you please be more specific (i.e. show me a website, etc.)

I have used a beard trimmer for years. I have a Philips one and it has a number of adjustments for different lengths of close stubble to distinct beard look. I usually cut mine on setting 2 a fairly close stubble and leave about two weeks before cutting again. I have had a number of beard trimmers over the years. Trim it instead of shaving it??

That is what clippers are for. Clippers are electric razors with a guard in place.

Do a search yourself on Remington's website. If you want the stubble, YOU will do the search to get the specific info. Otherwise it must not be that important to you.
