he may have athletes foot or some other fungus. he might need a foot doctor. but in the meantime......
he needs to make sure he dries his feet well before putting socks on. it's a good idea to use a foot powder, both on his feet and sprinkled inside his shoes, it will absorb some of the moisture. he should use a professional foot cream. try to find a german foot cream called Gehwol and use the one with the green strip on the package. it's made specifically for sweaty feet!!! he could try changing his socks once or twice throughout the day and tell him not to wear the same shoes everyday. his shoes may not be drying out between wears and making the problem worse.

Hey,
Hyperhidrosis is a medical condition in which a person sweats excessively and unpredictably. People with hyperhidrosis may sweat even when the temperature is cool or when they are at rest. Sweating helps the body stay cool. In most cases, it is perfectly natural. People sweat more in warm temperatures, when they exercise, or in response to situations that make them nervous, angry, embarrassed, or afraid.
Excessive sweating occurs without such triggers. Persons with hyperhidrosis appear to have overactive sweat glands. The uncontrollable sweating can lead to significant discomfort, both physical and emotional. When excessive sweating affects the hands, feet, and armpits, it is called primary or focal hyperhidrosis. In most cases, no cause can be found. It seems to run in families.
If the sweating occurs as a result of another medical condition, it is called secondary hyperhidrosis. The sweating may be all over the body or it may be in one area.
In both cases you'll find on this site some good tips to solve your problem: http://hyperhidrosis.toptips.org
Cheers ;)

Leather shoes, Leather insole's and decent cotton socks. This is the best environment for your feet if they need to be in shoes as the natural materials will absorb any sweat and bad smells that would normally follow. Never wear the same shoe every day either. Shoe's needs to breath and dry out so rotate them.
Did you know that the Romans use to put Garlic in-between their toes to stop fungal infections. Don't recommend it though!

He needs better shoes made of natural materials like leather. Plastic and other man-made materials cause moisture to form in the shoe which causes bacteria to grow which causes foot fungus to eat on the feet. He should wear only white socks until his feet heal. He needs to soak his feet at least once a day, more is better, in Epsom salts, you can get in in the drug store. There are anti fungus creams and powders which are helpful, too. This fungus and moisture problem can lead to an even more serious problem so encourage him to treat this problem and take it seriously.

Sounds like he needs to go see a podatrist. His feet have gotten to a very serious condition that over the counter medication will not cure.
