It might just be untoned muscle so some gentle exercise with weights might take care of it. In some people storing fat in the arm is heriditery and everyone's body does need a certain percentage of fat to be healthy, it may be in your family history, that is the place that it is stored.

You can't spot reduce, but you might think about trying this book called "The Movie Star Diet" by Steve Simmons. It helped me lose thirty pounds in 2 1/2 months when I didn't think anything would work. My goal to begin with was only 20 lbs! It has a really easy plan to follow and an excellent workout to use as well.

Working out can tone muscles, but if you drop enough weight, you may have excess arm fat. A good way to get rid of it is liposuction, a cosmetic surgery practice that is quite common. Google surgeons in your area.

slimming one spot on the body is extremely difficult to do. You can definitely tone the muscles there with pushups or nautilus machines, but to lose fat in one place you have to lose weight all over. If you are already at a low body fat percentage or bmi, you may be stuck with it. In this case you may be better off with liposuction.

If you think your arm is big because of fat, it might be muscle. if you flex your arm, and when you feel it, it is hard, it is muscle. (of course) Otherwise, exercise more.
