I have always wanted to do a holiday which has the following types of destinations: 1) A pleasant, easygoing city 2) A desert paradise 3) A tropical paradise 4) A vibrant, world class metropolis
Can anyone suggest any destinations for me to go to, or even itineraries? Thanks

try barcelona for the metropolis then to the algarve and then over to north africa. you should be able to do that quite cheaply with expedia or travelbag

I`m not sure whether London is pleasant easy going to start off with but if it is start there & fly to the Sahara followed by a short trip to say Goa & end up in Tokyo.

I did
London - Vienna - Bangkok - Sydney - Melbourne - Cairns - Alice Springs - Auckland - Queenstown - Darwin - Bali -Lombok - Singapore - Malasia -Bangkok- Rome - Florence- Turin - Venice- Monaco - Cannes - St. Tropez -Montpellier - Amsterdam - London !!
Took 2 years but what a blast - many other smaller places in between

Fly London to Kuala Lumpur with Gulf and take a stopover in Oman for your desert paradise.

Go To Singapore...
Stay at the Rasa on Sentosa Island (this is their leisure centre and is AMAZING)
Food is incredible cheap and fantastic tasting... Taxi EVERYWHERE for next to nothing (we travelled 20 miles to the zoo and it cost £10 for 8 of us!)
Beach is amazind... Rain forrest is too... More shops than you can imagine in the city....
OUTSTANDING place... 25 to 35 degrees C all year round....

maybe thailand...bangkok for the city..then head south for tropical beaches etc.
