Some Hindu gurus renounce the world and live in isolation because it allows them freedom to worship God. Jesus was homeless but travelled to help other people, so I think if you are going to be homeless it's best to not be in isolation but go around helping others, but then you might have to sleep on somebody's couch, so I'm not sure.

Why would you think that Jesus was homeless? He lived with His mother and took care of her like the Jewish custom. In his ministry he stayed with friends. (mary martha and lazarus) but I recall nowhere in the bible that it states he was homeless.

Homeless and without possessions of any kind is what Jesus taught those who would follow him, you're absolutely right.

Jesus used to have stones as pillow, slept infront of thedoor of people's houses, eat and drink from people's generosity (or leftovers?) like indian mystics beggars, while the christian world are constructing buildings higher than that tower the people build to touch the sky which god destroyed... (was it babel tower?)...

We are not all called to live in this matter. We each have our own calling. There are mendicant religious orders.
