looking for something somewhat easy , cute / novelty that has a fall or thanksgiving theme recipe for a dessert.

Pumpkin pie cake! It's similar to regular pumpkin pie, but is a little more creative. It's a total crowd-pleaser

What you need:
1 29 oz can pumpkin
1 12-13 oz. can evaporated milk
4 eggs slightly beaten
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ginger
12 tsp nutmeg
1 c. melted margarine
1 yellow cake mix
1 c. chopped nuts

1. Stir together sugar, cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg.
2. Mix with pumpkin, evaporated milk and eggs.
3. Pour into ungreased 9 x 13 cake pan.
4. Sprinkle dry cake mix oer pumpkin mixture.
5. Pour on melted margarine over whole pan and sprinkle with chopped nuts.
6. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean.

You could make a cobbler, and use thanksgiving cookie cutters to cut sheets of puff pastry dough. Arrange the cutouts over the fruit mixture, brush with butter; sprinkle with sugar, and bake until golden brown.

in case you when you consider which you have no longer have been given a blender use a potato masher.the secret to yummy potatoes is butter or margarine.The extra the yummier.blend barely adequate milk to get consistency you choose.when you consider which you have no longer have been given a mixer decrease the potatoes into real small slices formerly you mash em.this could make em much less lumpy.as far as on my own and all that I easily have been married to long to tell ya.Have a competent holiday

These cupcakes won my niece a blue ribbon at the fair:
Frost cupcakes with chocolate. Then place a Bugle (the snack) on top for a cornucopia. Use candy that is fruit shaped to spill out of the bugle.

have these as place setting markers - - just put the name of guest on the white with chocolate icing.::: Turkey place cards.... let the young help make....take an oreo cookie. twist cookie to divide. spread piece that has no icing with choc prepared icing. about a 1/2 inch up from each side , place a row of candy corn about half on cookie.lay down to set. this is your back. with the other side of cookie.you put a dolop of choc icing at the side about the size of dime.let it overhand side a little. stand the prepared side against this icing. put a malted ball in dolop of icing and dip a red hot candy in a very little icing and place on malted ball for head of turkey.

pumpkin pie or a sweet yam disH( take boilled sweet yams split in halves place at the bottom of the dish, top with marshmalloows and brown sugar then bake unil the marsmallows melt and turn brown

You get a box of spice cake add one can of pumpkin and put it in the bundt pan and just follow the directions on the back of the box after that and its yummy

and it sounds way yummy!

but never underestimate the power of carmel sauce and apple slices.... I eat so many that I get sick.... and then I do it all over again....
