That would be like parents having a child knowing full-well they would have to kill it at some point in the future because it wasn't living up to expectations. That's called pre-meditated murder - people go to jail for such behavior.

If this is the same god that asks his flock to kill their sons, leaves tempting trees and guiding serpents lying around to lead his children astray, etc, then maybe it's time for DSS to remove his custody over us.

I'm not sure where you are coming from. I wouldn't say God kills his creations. He sometimes allows things to happen that result in death but "allows" is the key word. He created man with the power of choice - we cannot blame God for something that happens due to our poor choices.

God does not kill his creations. He only brings them home or they destroy themselves. It is more like parents having children, bringing them into the world, knowing full well they will eventually pass on. Wonderful question. I hope I have helped you.

He doesn't kill us, we kill each other. Our sins cause pain and suffereing and death. He knew it would all happen, but it has to happen for us to grow and strengthen. Would you rather live and see the things you see, or have Him say, "Well, if I create them, they won't listen to me, so forget it. They don't deserve to live anyway"? Honestly. He knows we'll disobey Him, but He loves us and wants us to live and grow and come to know Him and live with Him eventually. He hasn't given up on us, and He continues to give us more chances.

God gives everyone 2 choices. It's up to each individual to accept Him or turn their backs to Him. Eternal destiny is up to us,it 's our decision.

It's because he is GOD and he can do whatever he wants. Just watch out! He has been a vengeful GOD, a loving GOD, a jealous GOD, etc. Just be glad that he has not decided to be a bipolar GOD.

Intermittent temporary insanity? Impaired short-term memory? Sheer goofiness?

I give up. But don't worry, the christians will come up with some great excuses, they always do.
