Will the Supreme Being rescue us from global warming and its effects?

Question

Thoughtful discussion solicited in three categories, along with citation to holy texts where utilized in your response:

1) answers which suggest that we will be rescued;

2) answers which suggest that we will not be rescued; and

3) answers which suggest whether deliberate action should be taken by humankind where evidence indicates looming disaster.

I don't know the Greenhouse effect in anyway can compare to a Nuclear war.

I think the Global warning is a pinch of salt compared to what lies ahead my friend.

Hi, Great Question
Without a doubt, many people will give you their (OWN) opinion.However if you want God's thinking please read on..

The Bible states at Rev 11:18 "God's own wrath comes,.....to destoy those who are destroying the earth."

Also Isaiah 45:18 "God did not create the earth for nothing, he made it to be inhabited"

Ecc 1:4 "The earth will be here forever"

And Psalms 37:9-11 "The meek shall inherit the earth"

So it is clear that the Creator of the Earth will not allow Global Warming, or any other threat that man could create to change his purpose for this earth.

He will not interfere with us in a physical manner.
Not until EVERY EAR HAS HEARD OF JESUS THE CHRIST/ MESSIAH...
Then Each soul will be given the choice, FREELY to believe, or not.
EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW ...
Though according to the SCRIPTURES, not every soul shall go to PARADISE for all ETERNITY.
Most can not see the BIGGER PICTURE...
Many choose not to even BELIEVE for whatever reason...
some silly reason like...God killed my mom, with CANCER...
A thief/ murderer killed my brother and God let it happen...
Everything is GOD'sFAULT since HE created this world...
THERE IS NO GOD...My house is on fire I'm trapped on the top floor...GOD HELP ME!!! Ya know.
Even those who are angry at HIM or do not believe in HIM...in times of trouble, they are usually the first to call on HIM...
OH GOD PLEASE HELP ME GET OUT OF THIS...
But no He is not going to come down and SPARE US if you will from the DISASTERS which WE create, atleast not in the manner you are thinking of.
At the appointed time, THE EARTH WILL BE DESTROYED WITH FIRE.
EVERY MOUNTAIN WILL CRUMBLE, EVERY ISLAND WILL BE LAID FLAT, and the WORLD will be destroyed, then He GOD will CREAT A NEW HEAVEN AND A NEW EARTH.
So WHY WORRY?
We are SPIRITUAL CREATURES living in a PHYSICAL BODY.
Who is to say that our so called REAL WORLD is not just a DREAM and the dream world is the REAL WORLD where we all reside in the SPIRIT...? think about it, you can do anything in your dreams. you can fly to different worlds, you can be in one place doing something and instantly be transformed into another completly different situation, place or time.
Even our nightmares can be turned into a PARADISE...
Well anyway, I think I am just babbling on now.
But NO GOD IS NOT GONNA COME DOWN AND RESCUE US FROM GLOBAL WARMING.

Here's an answer for the 'yea' side of the argument.
We should test God. Set the forrests on fire etc. Let's try to make the planet unhabitable. God would be required to show himself then. Of course a christian is not allowed to test God but... hey... Who said that I was a Christian?

since we don't know the supreme being, or who the extreme being is, or what it does, or what it wants, this question is impossible to answer.
