I think God has commanded everyone to be the best person they can be. It does not mean people are perfect or even close to perfect. Because of this, others will disappoint us and we will disappoint ourselves at times. At other times, we will be very happy with how we and others respond to circumstances.
God also wants all people to be treated with respect. If God is responsible for creating the universe, this world, and our beings, then God is with each and everyone one of us.

This question talks about Law. Law is revealed in our concience and in the Scripture. Law are the the things that we must do. Since we are all sinful, we all fall short of the law and are condemend.
However, God sent his only Son to save us from the condemnation of the Law. He took our punihsment for our sins and gave us his righteousness. This is the Gospel. The Gospel is only revealed in the Bible.
