I don't know everything about dogs but I know quite a bit. I have never heard of anything food wise that gets rid of worms, just the meds from the vet. Good Luck

I asked the same question to an holistic vet two or three weeks ago.

I moved to this new vet because she specialises in treating dogs without the need to pump the animals full of chemicals at the behest of the pharmaceutical companies. She advised me that a pet shop bought worming treatment used regularly is generally good enough to keep the parasites at bay, and more importantly really does no harm to the dog.

For the sake of your dog, please go to a vet and get medicine to have him or her de-wormed. Over the counter worming medicines don't always do the trick and I wouldn't trust what anyone says is a home remedy of some weird substance or food. Also, if you notice what looks like rice in your dogs stool it probably has tapeworms. Mention this to your vet too.

There are no foods that deworm, and the wormers sold over the counter in stores are not as strong or as effective as those you can get from your vet. Considering the dangers parasite infections can cause to your animal and your family, it is well worth the expense of getting the appropriate medication from a veterinarian. Many parasites are zoonotic, meaning they can transfer to people.

Diatamacious Earth
It is a natural wormer. Do a little research about it on the net.
