i agree with you rodney. the mormons believe some messed up things they follow what a drunk guy said. and they twist and turn the bible to fit their cultish ways. ALSO they have to have another book because they think god left some stuff out of the bible

As a former Mormon, I would say that they are called a cult because the religion is very close knit. You are tracked down even after you leave the church and move to another location. They don't give you all the information on what the faith stands for until you've been a member for a year, and then the info can be so overwhelming that if you don't agree with it, they say that you just weren't ready for it. They won't make you drink the kool-aid but they do expect you to follow EVERYTHING they tell you.

We believe Christ sufferend in the Garden of Gethsemane, that is actually where he took all of our sins upon himself, not necessarily the cross. He died on the cross as the sacrifice for our sins, he actually suffered physical/spiritual pain for them in the Garden also. We believe in the atonement, Yes, Christ suffered for all of us, he paid the price so we don't have to IF we repent and live the best life we can. It is conditional. The only part of his suffering and crucifixiton that is not conditional is that each of us will be resurrected as he was...but attaining Celestial Glory and living with God and Jesus Christ forever IS conditional.

Born again ? brainwashed ! Jesus gave us a commandment to follow, to Love one another as He loved us.We are born of flesh,
We must be born of the spirit to enter Heaven. That is not just
uttering a sentence,We need to follow what Jesus taught to be born of the spirit. There is only one Jesus and Mormons know Him
too.

The Mormon Jesus is not the Jesus of the Holy Scripture, and the book of mormons is not another testament.
