No, that has been a complaint of mine for over 35 years.
Reporters need to report only the facts and leave out their interpretation, feelings and beliefs about those facts. Today's reporters try and makes people believe their way of thinking is right.

the problem with most journalists is that they report from their perspective without having just evidence for their assumption. This is why they should wait until the facts are assembled, to keep people from "presuming" and speculating the facts. Honesty IS the best policy, and somtimes the first impression of a subject is not always accurate.

That would be an oxymoron. To be a journalist, you must contend with FACTS, not faith. If you're writing from faith, you are writing philosophy. That's not journalistic.
