Ridiculous questions require no thought. A serious, legitimate question if answered by a responsible person, requires a lot of thought. There are probably more people on here looking for an easy form of entertainment than people seriously trying to help others.

I can understand your frustrations. I have started to surf following the answers I like best, it finds me a better batch of questions to answer.
What I mean is when I answer a question I read the other answers and the ones I like best I surf to their page and see what other questions they are answering... I can quickly see if they are clowns or if they are surfing like I am and finding questions I would like to answer.
I also go to the leader board and when a name appeals to me I check their answers because they answer so many questions to get the points that there are dozens to choose from still open and others in voting so I can up my vote count too....this is my way of making a new category of finding questions to answer.
I don't answer dorky questions any more but I sometimes do give them thumbs down...and when voting when I find questions with only one or two answers that was lame I vote No best answer and I believe if no best answer gets more votes than any of the other answers then the question will be deleted...this is way faster than reporting things... I think they have cleaned up the question pool allot in the last few months.
by checking recently answered questions of other people I think I find more interesting questions and I don't waist so much time scanning the newest asked hodge podge.

Yes I do. I have asked a couple questions and only got a slight few responses.
Yes I do answer some of the more off the wall questions more, but I will at least look at some of the more serious ones. If I can answer them then I will, and if not I won't.
don't know if this is really what you are looking for as far as an answer, but it's my 2 cents worth.

I don't like crudeness either. But, once in a while life needs to be lightened up and I don't mind a clean funny joke. What I find that people seem to like too much are questions about cheating (yes, I've answered them myself) and illicit sex. Plus, a lot of kids are on here, don't forget. Who knows. Your guess is as good as mine.

I do understand, sometimes i am a bit offended , but for the most part. I believe that it is because of the fact that information is endless, " the more we know, the more we know how much we don't know ". It is overwhelming sometimes and a wonderful comic relief to answer a silly question with a silly answer. sometimes I just love to read everyone's response to these crazy questions.

Don't read them or answer them. If you start reading a question and it gets your boxers in a wad you have the power to move to the next question. The off the wall questions get peoples blood boiling and they are interesting to answer. You able to blow off some steam and it doesn't cost you a penny. Lets face it you like it to or you would not of commented on it.

I try not to answer serious questions if I don't really know what I'm talking about. I like to know that what I'm saying is a least somewhat factual. I don't like to give or read long answers. Besides, I'm not on here to solve the world's problems, I'm just trying to pass some time.

The legitimate ones take thought and insight and most of the people using the Answers feature are young & stupid.

dissimilar varieties of miracles are reported interior the Bible. (Exodus 7:19-21; one million Kings 17:one million-7; 18:22-38; 2 Kings 5:one million-14; Matthew 8:24-27; Luke 17:11-19; John 2:one million-11; 9:one million-7) a lot of those miracles served to perceive Jesus because of the fact the Messiah, and that they proved that he had God’s backing. Jesus’ early followers displayed outstanding presents, alongside with speaking in tongues and discernment of inspired utterances. (Acts 2:5-12; one million Corinthians 12:28-31) Such outstanding presents have been useful for the Christian congregation in the time of its infancy. How so? nicely, copies of the Scriptures have been few. oftentimes, in simple terms the wealthy possessed scrolls or books of any variety. In pagan lands, there grew to become into no expertise of the Bible or of its author, Jehovah. Christian coaching had to be conveyed via be attentive to mouth. The outstanding presents have been useful in showing that God grew to become into using the Christian congregation. yet Paul defined that those presents could bypass away whilst they have been no longer mandatory. “regardless of if there are presents of prophesying, they are going to be accomplished away with; regardless of if there are tongues, they're going to stop; regardless of if there is expertise, it extremely is going to be accomplished away with. For we've partial expertise and we prophesy partly; yet whilst that it is finished arrives, that it is partial would be accomplished away with.”—one million Corinthians 13:8-10. at present, people have get entry to to Bibles, as nicely as concordances and encyclopedias. Over 8 million experienced Christians are helping others to benefit divine expertise based on the Bible. consequently, miracles at the instant are not from now on necessary to attest to Jesus Christ as God’s appointed Deliverer or to grant evidence that Jehovah is backing his servants.

Sure, I have asked some very sincere questions, and I get very little responses. But some questions are funny.
No matter what you see, hear, feel, experience, or visit, there will always be some sort of corruption.
