is it true that people really do check thier fecal matter for sweetcorn content?

In Bavaria where the food has a high meat content, and very little fruit and veg, worms and bowel cancer are a great fear. The toilets have a shelf in them, you put toilet paper on this and then inspect the faeces which sit there before you flush them away. Plenty of people do it the world over - you should always check for blood - black tarry blood in this country too! (I'm a nurse and that means I don't necessarily do what I preach!)

Why stop at sweetcorn.
Why not do a full survey to see if you can recognise anything else that might have passed through you?
