As long as your paying the rent, your landlord isn't going to care if you sleep there or not.

What does your lease say? Paying rent is one thing, but if in your lease you are required to keep up your grounds or maintain utilities and you don't because you are not there on the regular, maybe your landlord might have grounds...A judge will grant eviction if you have violated the lease agreement even if you pay your rent . If you feel that your landlord is treating you in an unfair manner, there are laws to protect you, too. Check the internet for laws in your state about Landlord/tenant rights.

Depending on your state the landlord is very limited in what he/she can do. You can not be evicted as long as your rent is current and your fellow tenants are not places complaints against you. Also the landlord can not enter the dwelling with out you there unless there is an emergency IE leaking pipes

If you pay your rent on time and don't break any of the rules of your lease agreement then I would say no.
