I have windows XP and I have Network Magic for managing my network if that helps. When I right click on my scanner it doesn't list any options of sharing it so I am not sure how to do it but I'm not sure why it wouldn't be possible.

I want to do this because I have two different computers right next to each other and I don't want to have to unplug and replug the scanner to different computers each time I want to use it. It's not like the computers are far away from each other.

Unless it was built for it, i don't think you can share it - god know i tried on my cannon scanner.

If you got a two way print server maybe. But i use the remote desktop function in windows xp. That works great!

If the people you are sharing with do not mind walking physically over to your scanner then ok.
