....ok.... You mentioned "One of my friends...." You never mentioned if your friend was M or F, so I have to assume he's M. Anyways, you also mentioned "I just got my boyfriend two weeks ago....." You said it like he's a piece of property...like a pet or something. Whats up w/ that??!!
Just kidding! Just loosening you up. Your asking for advice whether or not to look into this gift from your friend......keep it in the back of your mind.
Thats an unfair question. When it comes to love, some manage to love who they want. Others happen to find love in places they've never imagined. If you asked 10 people who they fell in love with, and if they expected to be with that person when they met, I bet half of them (Thats 5) would've mentioned the fact that they never would've thought of being w/ the person that they are with.
A lot of peple find love that way. You just never know who you'll end up with....sometimes.
As for you, your w/ your b/f. Your not engaged, or even married yet, so you still have "Options". It would'nt be good to have a "Roaming eye" so to speak because undoubtedly, with you two being a couple, there's feelings involved...........right? :-)
Your w/ your boyfriend, & you love him. Keep the gift, say thank you, and keep his "Thought" in the back of your mind.
Sometimes love comes around full circle, you'll bump into him 3 years from now at some coffee shop and you'll be single, he'll be single, and you can bring up the story about how you always thought about the "Gift" situation and its funny how you two are bumping into each other exactly 3 years from that date.......
You'll basically have a story to tell
Make sure if you ever pursue anything with your "Friend" though that it is never on the "Rebound". Rebound relationships never work out, or if they do, they are UGLY.
Gudluk w/ your decision!!!

A gift means nothing but just that a gift... what are u worried about, even though u have had this BF for 2 weeks, it is just new and their should be no issues over it.. It is a gift.. If u had this friend buy a gift to make him (the BF) jealous then that is a bit rude and u really shouldn't try and play games...

I think it might mean that this other guy likes you. But it depends on the gift. If it is like a teddy bear or flowers, or perfume, he deff. likes you. So if in any way you think the gift was *sweet* or *cute* he must like you. if it's just a gift like something you dont have to put alot of thought into than he prolly just wanted to be nice.
think a/b it long and hard...
!Ashlyn!

I would have excepted the gift from your friend, 2 weeks we can't tell what our destiny is in 2 weeks, always live as if in reality we are all promised a day make it count. It's really how u feel, hon not how we perceive it. What is in your heart?

You "got" your boyfriend. Sounds as if you bought him from Wal Mart.
Read between the lines regarding the gift, what do you think?

Depends on what the gift was. If it was a coffee cup, then I wouldn't think much of it. If it was flowers, chocolates, or a box of condoms, then your friend may have a crush on you.

well, maybe he likes you a little more than he thought but if you really like this other guy than hang out for a while and see what happens.let your friend know he is still your friend and maybe you all can do something with all your friends as a group date or an outing .
