Yes, it sounds like it is a miscarriage! Please go to the DR ASAP!
EDIT:
If there are clot (clumps), heavy bleeding and cramping that very well could be a miscarriage. Implantation only cause light bleeding and would have occured already. some light bleeding may be okay, but should still be checked out by a DR.

This sounds very definitely like a miscarriage. If she is already one month along than there would already have been implantation. If the bleeding gets so bad it soaks a pad an hour or she starts vomiting or feeling faint she should go to the ER right away!! I'm sorry.

It is possible that she may be having a miscarriage. She should go and get medical attention. Also I have heard that if a woman is under a lot of stress during the first few week-month it may cause them to bleed. Also during the first few months she should not lift anything heavy.

I am so sorry but it does sound like a miscarriage. Those are usually the symptoms. You should take her to the doctor/hospital asap. I bleed a bit early in my pregnancy as well but gave birth to a healthy baby girl so there is always hope but definitely seek medical attention.

Sometimes they can just reabsorb the babies and go on with their lives. Not sure what signs you'll get. Might see some bloody show.

it could be either. she should go to the doctors and have it checked out. implantation is a serious condition and if her uterus ruptures she could bleed to death.
