I've sat for hours searching the net, using every relevent search term I could think of and I cannot get the facts on what life was like for a novice/nun in Catholic Ireland in the 50s and 60s. Does anyone know of a reliable link I could go to? It's really important to me.

All I could find is a website that gives information on an Irish convent school in 1950: http://folksong.org.nz/yarns/conventkid.html

contact your local Diocese, I am sure they could recommend a book or may even know of a sister that you could speak to.
