It is quite hard to stand up for Christ from my perspective. I am Rational Spirituality, not an orthodox Christian. Orthodox Christians believe that I am wrong because I dispute the bible written 325 after Christ and edited 1000 since, and atheists who may accept my rationality usually have an issue with Christ.

But I stick up for him bravely, because to me he was the most wonderful human being that walked the Earth, an example to anyone, a great intellect, a humanist, a democrat and a martyr. I could not love a religious icon as much as I can love a perfect Soul that once was human. I believe that Christ talks to me and guides me on my path.

Sure, but its worth it! Persecution here = treasures in heaven.........and here is something to think about. History records SOO much about the Lord Jesus' life. And yet, people will deny he existed, but will agree with many other ambiguous historical facts. Why is that?? The miracles recorded in history done by Jesus cannot be denied because there are so many records of it...so either Jesus was who he claimed to be, or he was a liar, and the entire christian faith is flawed. Thats basically what it comes down to....but either way, Jesus changed the course of history....what could that mean about him. Why would thousands after his death continue to follow him? Its not like people back then were less intelligent. Think about it.

It is never hard to stand up to believing in Jesus. This life is only a role play for the life to come by losing our lives here on earth (especially in the name of God) we gain eternity in heaven. Which has no end.

People seem to find it hard to follow Christ footsteps and standing up for What he stood up for The word of his FATHER the true GOD! IT is worth it to stand on truth just like the Messiah of Israel the son of GOD. The world killed him for it!
the world hated him for it and it will hate you too! He was not of the world only in it! Now he is now at the right hand of His God and FATHER till that time that His FATHER sends him back! HE is alive his brethren Will die and will live with him in his FATHER's Kingdom on earth after the last Judgment.

They never find it hard to stand up for the name jesus heck that makes them in the majority.

Not hard to do but I was afraid to when I first got saved,,until the Lord showed me I had nothing to fear..It isnt about control it is about love,,I love people and want them to get blessed as I get blessed..Most people feel we are trying to push things down their throat,,If someone had a way out of pain and I didnt take it wouldnt that to me be stupid to think like that,,as if anyone would want to sit in pain all thier life..

Yes. I think it is often difficult to submit to ridicule and hostility, but we are to declare the truth, no matter the personal cost. Becoming a Christian is not an easy road, but it is fulfilling. Doing the right thing is always the right course of action.

I have to do that at school a lot. (I am only 13). Often people have no idea what they are talking about and I have to set them straight. It's sad how little people know.

Regularly here on R&S. Half the people here ignore his words because there is no absolute historical proof for his existance, and the other half ignore his words because they just want to use him to get to heaven.
