if you got pregnant while taking birth control, did you have a "period" the first month or more? and what bc where you taking when it happened?

I got pregnant on Yasmin. I only had spotting for a few days...and started the next pack. When I was done with that pack..I didnt get my period...so I figured something was up. I went back to the dr. and found out I was pregnant. They were concerned that the baby would be deformed cuz of the b/c...but she is a happy healthy 2 yr old!

Got pregnant while taking Yasmin. My periods stopped coming when I had finished my pack, I started a new pack and the same thing happened at the end of that one, called the Dr. they said to take a test and schedule an appointment and thats how I found out I was pregnant. Nine months now and have'nt gotten a period the entire pregnancy.

Yeah I am aging my self here but I got pregnant on BC it was ortho novem 777 you know when we had that big baby boom , and yes I had my period for the first cycle of green pills , and then after that I didnt have a period , but when I went and got my ultrasound because I had missed a period they said I wasnt pregnant , so I was told to take another cycle of BC , but in my head I knew there was something the matter there , and I had to go back in 2 weeks , and then another ultrasound and sure enough I was pregnant . So make sure that you are regular on your pills and make sure you make all your appointments.

My aunt got pregnant both times on birth control....I'm not sure about the period thing you should probably call and ask your doctor about it if your are concerned...I still don't think you would have your period if you were pregnant but you need to make absolutely sure because if you are you need to stop taking birth control asap. i got pregnant with my 1st while on the bc pill and i had my periods for the 1st 2 to 3 months
