I think everyone blames people that think different than they do make that claim at one time or another. I know I have thought that way of all of you who hate God or think we that believe are stupid... I confess that to you and I will try to remember you are thinking people too. When it come right down to the beginning of all things you have to take a huge leap of faith that life spontaneously began. Every theory sooner or later comes to that moment.... Jim

No, of course not. We are encouraged to think logically and to ask questions. How logical is it to say that we all just appeared out of nowhere for no reason, and were just automatically able to breathe and talk and live...or to think that apes turned into humans and turned colors and lost all their hair and completely changed everything about themselves, and to top it all off that they did it for no reason whatsoever? It couldn't have been a necessity for survival or due to adaptation because they're all still here, and they are born apes and die apes. Which seems more logical...that we were created and given life and taught how to do all the things that we do, and that everything works the way it does because of an intricate plan, or that everything just is and appeared coincidentally out of nothingness and just happened to work the way it does? It does not seem logical to me to think that a human being's heart can beat and cause blood flow, and all the parts of the body to work together perfectly so that we can live and breathe. It does not seem logical that there is no higher power and design causing a baby to miraculously be created and grow and develop into a human being the way it does.
Is it banned for non-Christians to think logically or to ask questions?

In Islam, any innovation or man-made invention introduced to the religion is fully scrutinized to make sure it conforms to Islamic teachings.

Fatwas made by knowledgeable religious figures, who use undisputed Islamic resources like the Qur'an and Hadith, are meant to resolve issues that don't have a direct and immediate resolution.

These issues are usually hot topics that can be controversial, and logic must be used in conjunction with religious sources to resolve whether they or not they can be permitted in Islamic life.

Banned in some cases and areas , yes. Unfortunately.
Don't trust the religionists. It was only with the seperation of church and state that we got our freedoms. Don't allow religion (any) to make a comeback. Especially Islam.

If every Christian and Muslim were kicked out of their church for asking questions and thinking logically, then there would soon be no Christians or Muslims.

"some people will say yes and some will say no because religion is naturally contradictive."

That logic can be applied to anything, religious or not.

In Christianity thinking is encouraged, for it is written, "Love the Lord your God with all of your heart and all of your soul and all of your strength and all of your MIND." At the same time, it is written, "Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not on your own udnerstanding."

In other words think...but do not think that you know better than God! Trust Him, even when you can't understand His wisdom which is so superior to ours!

Yes, I think logic and reason are not allowed in religion because they are considered sinful.
