I agree with a few answers up there, but would like to add that rubbing your head a lot when you wash it, like really massaging your scalp actually produces more oil in your hair. just thought you would like to know.

Well you want to look for something that says 'clean' on the label, neutragena has a clean line as does paul mitchel which will get that hair healthy and not make more greasy-ness.
If you have that problem stay away from moisturizing conditioners mostly because they have some products that will make a oil-like shine and since you have hair that does that use it to your advantage and get something that will clean it like the above and your natural oils will help as well.

Dr. Bronners Soap peppermint in the liquid . Do not scrub the scalp as that will stimulate the oil glands. Be gentle with your scalp. What you eat effects the entire body. Are you eating healthy? Do you have problems with yeast infections or body oder in other areas? Lastly rule out disease with an medical exam. Sometimes bad smells indicate a sick system.

Fructis Sleek and Shine. Don't use Pantene. The detergents are way too harsh (even if your hair is greasy), and it's full of wax.
