djyo, excellent responce.
I am not at all worried about getting hurt!
The Holy Bible says "fear no evil" and fear not the one that can take your life but the one that can take your soul... (in so many words) I am protected by the Holy Angels!
If you are concerned, you can pray for my protection and safe keeping if you so desire.-Thanks! :^)

You may sound the trumpet if you like, but it will just create a trumpet blast.
Are you familiar with John 6:44? You don't have the power to bring people to Christ. Only God has that power. You have the power to spread the word about how you were brought to God. And you have the authority to point out the Word of God to others. This is the trumpet-sounding required of you.
As for rallying up the "troops" and suggesting that people get ready--those who are ready, are ready. Those who are not, you cannot force.

I am a very comitted christian, but people like you are ruining our names! You guys keep proclaiming that Jesus is coming, and guess what, He hasn't come yet! You know why??? Because its a very very huge misinterpretation of the Bible! If you read the bible carefully, you will see that it is not referring to some Glorious coming of Jesus way in the future (2000 years from when it was written), but it is talking about a "coming" in judgement. God "came" to a lot of nations in the old testament, and it was clearly judgement. Read Isaiah 13, and 19 if you don't believe me (there are tons more passages along with that...) So, basically passages like Matt. 24, and Luke 21 are talking about how Jesus is going to judge the nation of Israel because they have crucified him. Read Matt 23 also, it clearly shows that Jesus is going to judge Israel. And when did that take place?? It took place in 70AD, when the roman armies destroyed Jeruselum in 3.5 years, just as first 20 chapters of Revelation predicted! The entire system of dispensationalism is flawed, so stop proclaiming Jesus is coming, because you are making the christian faith a laughingstock! Sure, there is still a second coming, but we have no idea when it is. Approach the bible with no preconceived ideas, and God will show you what He means through careful study. You need nothing but the bible to interpret itself. That's all, please just think about it.

Yes.
Definately.
You are your brothers KEEPER.
It is up to us to TEACH and to tell others about His comming.
Trouble is, most people won't hear it... or they will turn a deaf ear.
So you then need to just," wipe the dust from off you feet", and move on to the next person...
I have had a difficult time with this, I have tried to use this forum to get people to BELIEVE in or Come to JESUS...But I do not know...
It seems most people either believe allready or not and I may have got a few people to believe in Him here on ANSWERS, but mostly I just get the typical...JESUS does not exist, or He is not real...or something worse.
Yes it is our duty as CHRISTIANS to SPREAD the WORD, and Yes to inform others that HE WILL RETURN.
He can return at any moment, LIKE A THIEF IN THE NIGHT.
People will be going on with their BUSINESS as USUAL...Just like when the GREAT FLOOD.
Nobody knows for sure the exact time or hour, but yes we are to tell of His Return...
Just be careful here, you may get hurt.

People have said this for centuries. No one knows or can even guess when that will happen. Look at all the doomsday cults throughout history. What makes you think you know more than they do?

I knew it. It IS about making war.
I'm so glad I'm not a Christian.
I woke up years ago and I've been sounding the trumpet ever since. It isn't my fault you didn't listen.
God is alive.
Religion is dead.

Christians under attack? Oh, give me a freakin' break.
And Jesus, if he existed, died a long time ago. Get over it.

There is no Jesus and Christians simply believe they are a special group and any attacks against them are somehow more significant than attacks against other groups. Get over yourselves - please!
