if the guys rock on the whole in the animal world and the girls rock in the insect world...?

who do you think rocks in our world...i mean look at male gorillas, stallions,lions,etc...they rule...then look at spiders,praying mantis etc the chicks mate then eat their man...and then theres queen bees,ants,wasps,etc...the girls rule here...what about us...and why?

dt_ch i dont wholeheartedly agree...men are as dependent on women until they learn to bear and carry children,lol...for the progression of the species...and before everyone jumps on the bandwagon saying that im being sexist here and thats not all women are here for im not saying that im only responding to the old hunter gatherer remark here...;0)

[B]alance maybe. seems like our world tends to lean toward extremes but nature sometimes tries to balance each other out (ions, elements or chemistry, forces against gravity 9.8m/(s)2, good vs. evil - but a middle ground, Fritz Heider and Theodore Newcomb's "balance theory", etc). Many factors pushing entities to the extreme, and opposite forces want to bring it back to balance.

[W]hat makes us different than the animal/insect kingdom is our ability to think, reason, evolve, change and not live primary on instinct. Yes the animal/insect world evolves due to environment and survival of the species, and yes they change with their eco systems and so forth. I am talking about changing and evolving mentally and personaility wise not so much physically. But men and women have the adaptability to better ourselves with thought processes and emotional change - not just instinct.

[A]s a whole there are aspects that men generally do better than woman and there are aspects that women do better than men. But with all the entities like leadership, cognitive skills, communication, strength by force, strength by persuasion, emotional makeup, intuitiveness, intimacy, etc.. men and women could both adapt to the skills thereof lacking and therefore men and women balances each other out and neither "rock" as a whole but "rocks" in certain areas alike or different. We need each other more than just to procreate. We need each other to balance each other out as a whole. This world was made up so that it would be in chaos if it was just made up of all males or all females. Yes some species of frogs, fish, or amphibians can change to adapt, but for the most part we are different for a reason, and we both "Rock"! As far as the human female goes, you - "She" really rocks! LOL ;)

Well i have the right answer for that. You know god created man after creating all other animals. So he gained a lotza experience by doin trial and error on them. And understood that he did a BIG mistake whenever he gave females the upper hand...for example the praying mantis, ants wasps etc. Finally he started creating more complex animals like lion, gorillas stallions etc. So finally he learned something. Its not a wise idea to give females an upper hand. THEY ARE TWICE AS DEADLY AS THEIR MALE COUNTERPARTS even though they look inferior. so it would certainly be the end of the world if they were the dominators. THus with this great enlightenment he created humans. And that creation turned out to be his most wonderful one....Like my theory?....no hard feelings pls...lol

Men dominate in our world. In an anarchist or primitive society, women are reduced to objects. This is because women are physically weaker, and men want women and (since we're stronger) can take women. Women then depend on men for protection. As society gets more civilized, the differences become less and less because men protect women more and more, but trust me, if you took all the cops off the street, you'd either be protected by a man (husband, father, whatever), be a whore, or be in a world of pain. Women who try to raise to that level would be crushed by their male companions.

You see the same thing in the gang world. If a girl wants to join a gang, a lot of times she has to submit to having sex with every man in the gang, and if a rival female gang member is captured, she's raped. But there's no such requirements on the male members.

Lord of Lust's answer is probably one of THE most stupid I have EVER read on this site, and I've read a fair few. If you believe in God, God doesn't need to "learn", he's God, for Pete's sake. He was struggling to make a lion but he managed to create a fantastic cosmiverse? Do me a favour.

Anyway sorry I had to get that off my chest. In answer to your question, I think girls rule in our world, because girls ultimately choose their mate and have the power to say 'no',and bear and feed the children. All they need is a tiny bit of sperm, and let's face it, there's plenty of that knocking about.

Wow, good question. I think there's a fairly even balance in the human world. Some girls like to take control, some girls like to give control, some girls like equal control. Still, men are usually the ones associated with dominance, so they do have a slightly larger amount of power.
