Blosom Hills, white zindafel is the best wine ever. I could drink it straight from the bottle. Serve well chilled with fish, chicken or pasta. Light fruity taste. Buy more than one bottle.

It is all a matter of taste. I don't think it really matters which wine you drink with which food so long as you enjoy the wine you are drinking.
My personal best wine is a sauvignon blanc - Palliser Estate from New Zealand which is comparable to an orgasm in a bottle!!
Look up the vast choice of wines and how people have rated them on www. virginwines.com. There is also a discount on the first case you buy and if you don't like any of the wines you choose they will refund the price! Cheers

I am finding that some New York State wines by Dr. Frank are superb: pinot noir and the cabernet are lovely. Heron Hill makes a dynamite Reisling- dry and semi dry that is great. Also Chateau Lafayette has an excellent selection of red and white wines. You will not be disapppointd.

Rosemount shiraz cabernet is a lovely smooth red with blackcurranty, chocolatey and slight licorice tones. good if you're not sure about reds, but quite expensive. White- I like Stowells chenin blanc or colombard-both crisp and fruity, easy drinking, not oaky like a chardonnay. They would be perfect with salt n vinegar pringles!

Tesco Chilean cabernet sauvignon, Red,cheap and strong and actually tastes very decent quite tannic a little blackcurranty. Friexenet Spanish sparkling is lovely (tastes like champagne) available in UK about £5-£6 bottle. Hardys white chardonnay (Aussie, yellow diamond label) is the best for me, fruity like pears and marzipan !

pinot grigio blush is my fav. i buy supermarkets own of these.

it's a very mellow tasting rose, not particulrly pink in colour, but not as acidic as a lot of whites. i'ts good when i can't make my mind up between white or rose.

red gives me a headache, but i like it in the winter, made in to mulled wine. It gives you a cosy sort of feeling.

salt and vinegar crisps too! yummy.

some roses are too sweet for me but fetzer rose is the business - fruity and just so gorgeous! for red i like wolfblass cab sauv but have found a cheaper alternative in mcwilliams yellow label cab sauv - hits the spot everytime! white wine i like a nice full bodied chardonnay, something like lindemans coonawarra or hardys nottage hill. to be honest there are too many to choose a favourite.

d'Arenberg - The Laughing Magpie. Shiraz / Viognier
Has an intense black cherry colour and an open peppery, chocolate, boysenberry nose streaked with blackberry jam, vanilla cream, leather and floral notes. Gorgeous rich, round wine with big opulent black cherry jam, orange rind, licorice, peppery, floral flavours. Feels like silk in the mouth.

I like Valdivieso Single Vineyard Reserve Malbec. Its a fantastic Chilean red wine with a deep chocolatey flavour. Its a unique taste and I would recommend it to anyone who likes red wine.
