YES! It's very challenging, I'll admit it, but it can absolutely be done. The first rule is to be consistent. As soon as we wake up, as soon as he comes out of his kennel (when I have to leave the house for a few hours) and every 2 hours in between, no exceptions - the two hours is an example, if you have a young pup, it will have to go out way more frequently.
The second rule is TONS of encouragement and praise when they go in the right spot. Don't show the dog that you are impatient, even if its cold outside and you want them to hurry. Don't yell at or hit the dog if you catch them going inside. If you catch them in the act, pick them up and take them out, and don't go back in until they have done their business. If you find a boo-boo, don't react to the dog, they don't remeber they did it, so you can't correct it. Just clean it with an enzyme spray so they won't smell it and go in the same spot.
Mine is 7 months, and we don't have any accidents at all.

Yes when you go somewhere just put the dog in the crate and leave him/her in there until you get home then just put him/her outside until it goes to the bathroom most dogs wont sleep where they go to the restroom so if you do that for a couple of months then you can let the dog rome the house if it does not use the restroom in the house

yes you can but they are hard to break, a dog usually goes to the bathroom 15-20 minutes after they get done eating or drinking so take him out side then. He/She should pick up on it soon.

Yes. Actually I trained my mini doxie to use a litter box as she was afraid to go outside when she was a baby. That might be a good option if your haveing a problem.

while your canines makes a multitude take him to it and say in a strict yet no longer propose voice "naughty potty." approximately thrice. then ask him wheres your solid potty? take him to his potty and tutor him to flow there. NOW while he does do a solid potty handle him with a canines biscuit or some thing take him to the potty and say "solid boy" "solid potty" and compliment him :] i found out this from mans ultimate buddy it works :]
