Can you can make excuses for the horrors, the pro-killing, rape, slavery, subordination of women, slaying of babies, homosexuals, stoning of people that don’t keep the Sabbath day holy, that fornication, commit adultery, or teenagers that are rebellious? But going by some scriptures, such as a few of the Ten Commandments, he wants you to die also.

The bible has so many conflicting teachings and laws. How can you justify your own disgust for these atrocities? God’s word doesn’t change so don’t claim this was just the ‘Old testament laws’. God’s word is permanent and everlasting; you cannot claim it is out of date or no longer applicable. Listen to God say so himself:

The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of Lord stands forever.
1 peter 1:24-25

The grass withers; the flower fades; but the word of our God will stand forever.
Isaiah 40-8
Same message twice!!!

Psalm 19; 7 Yahweh's law is perfect, restoring the soul. Yahweh's testimony is sure, making wise the simple.

8 Yahweh's precepts are right, rejoicing the heart. Yahweh's commandment is pure, enlightening the eyes.

9 The fear of Yahweh is clean, enduring forever. Yahweh's ordinances are true, and righteous altogether.

Now, God, Yahweh is the all mighty, not Jesus. So who’s word would reign if God and Jesus’ laws conflicted? Would you dare to put God’s word last? Just remember blasphemy or idol worshiping of other person but God is punishable by death (even his son). Prepare to take an eternity of burning in hell for your choices; God certainly wasn’t very forgiving to most of the people in the bible.

God wants blood spilled for him, not vegetables, pray to God to forgive you for having a heart and not following all of his repulsive rules and words.

Don’t tell my you looked at my argument logically and still have no doubt or wonder about the beliefs you claim to posses. You are ignorant and unworthy of a functioning human brain if you think you are undoubtedly right.

problem with christianity is that they have put the cart before the horse. then blame the horse. what can the poor horse do. it knows that is not the way the cart is pulled.
I've often heard christian saying, " fear of god is the beginning of wisdom". a stupid statement. many christians hold on to this. it should have been " love of god is the beginning of wisdom", i would have accepted it whole heartedly. wisdom does not dawn upon you out of fear. out of fear you become an imbecile. Yehweh must've been a impotent, so did not want anyone knowing the truth. so he went about threatening. must be the people of that time were very docile and yehweh saw it as an opportunity to rule over them. Yehweh should live with me for a few days. i will show him how to love people, how enjoy music, dance and live in sync with nature. His world was the barren land of israel, jordan and surrounding areas. he must not have seen greenery. for that he should visit places like india, china, brazil. a dry man, desperately looking for dominance. look at his favorite people, Israelis, always at war, killing people. are they killing arabs to be offered to yehweh. yehweh must've been a cannibal.
my parents always took care of me, they never threaten me. they taught me the right ways, allowed me to learn what i liked. they gave me opportunities to explore. i found bible & quran more repulsive in its approach to humanity. the word love loses meaning in these books. they only preach, do not practice it.

Christians do not condone any of that. That reads of a Muslim rap sheet.

"So who’s word would reign if God and Jesus’ laws conflicted?"

They don't. They are one in the same. Christians believe in the Trinity, the Father God, Son Jesus and Holy Spirit. Jesus is God. He is God's representation on Earth.

Many scriptures in the Bible are found multiple times. Search any scripture in a Bible dictionary and you will probably find multiple cites.

God doesn't want you to die. You will die eventually. God wants you to live your life as best as possible and glorify him with your life.

God was unforgiving to those that did not accept him. Just like he will be once you die and have not accepted him.

You need to actually know something about Christianity and the Bible before you try to disprove it. I've heard much more rational arguements against the Bible than these.

We are all entitled to our own opinions, of that there is no doubt. I realize you know the Bible quite well, so take a peek at Genesis 1:28, God gave Adam dominion over the whole Earth, but when Adam and Eve (Genesis 3) disobeyed God by eating the forbidden fruit, the dominion God had given them was in-turn given up to the serpent (Satan) and he is the true source of all the bad things that happen in the world.
In Genesis 1:26. "God said let Us make man in Our image." Jesus is a part of the Godhead and was there with God at creation. His job was to pay the penalty for our sins, which was done on the cross, John 19:30 He said, "It is finished," this doesn't only refer to his death, but the plan of salvation, and the dispensation of grace, which we are currently under.
I am not trying to argue with or provoke you, I just feel as if you are angry and want answers. I am probably too ignorant to answer you accordingly and I know I am unworthy, but here I am. I would like to leave you with a question, if God is imaginary, why are you so angry at Him?

Jesus came as an answer to the problems that the law causes... People failed to follow the law because they're imperfect and are human... Jesus was the fullfillment of the law. Its purpose was to make people holy enough to live in God's presence... which they couldn't do...When jesus came, He was the ultimate sacrifice for us so we dont have to try and fail to be perfect... He completed the work that was started with the law by fullfilling it... Thats why we dont follow the old testament law anymore...

There's a lot of things we dont know understand about God and the bible because we're human... I hope i helped a little bit...Our minds cant comprehend such... But thats where faith comes in...I have faith in my God I know that the God i believe in loves me... And he loves you too..

Your good at bashing Christians. All the bad things you listed are not done by the Christians. Have you read in the Bible that it tells us about Judging others ?? Don't Judge, lest Ye be Judged. Get with reality. God the Father Almighty, and in Jesus Christ His only Son our Lord. That is who the Christians worship, is God the Father. Shame on you for calling people names that you don't even know. You call us ignorant, well it takes one to know one. Remember when you point a judgemental finger at someone , there are three judgemental fingers pointing back at you. Mr. Goody two shoes. Just make sure you walk the straight and narrow and it could be that you are one of the biggest Hypocrits alive. Don't Judge, until you know.

Your argument is flawed. Yes we are responsible to keep all the Laws of the Bible. Right down to the rites of a woman's purification. I take it you have read the Laws..... Here is a flash. We don't do it. We are all under God's condemnation for breaking His commandments. This is where Jesus Christ come it. God made Him to be sin so we could be made the righteousness of God in Him.... Blood is spilled eternally by Jesus for our sin and that blood cleanses us all for all our sins but one.. That one is the rejection of the Holy Spirit as He leads you towards Christ. By not excepting the gift of life you damn yourself to death and hell.... It's your choice I know you have the message you were just quoting from it.... Jim

Because we are human. And we are all born with original sin. Have you heard of the HOLY TRINITY: GOD the FATHER, GOD the SON, and GOD the HOLY SPIRIT. You have much to learn. We have been living against GOD'S word since day one. But because GOD loves us unconditionally even though we live according to our own desires he sent HIS one and only begotton son.>>JESUS CHRIST our LORD and SAVIOR...its is not easy for us to wrap our brain around this....JESUS is really GOD taking on human form, and living HIS life as an example to show us how HE wants us to be conducting our selves. And Jesus overcame the temptations of Satan, but we as humans are not
strong enough to resist the evil works of the devil. The devil is
pleased when his evil makes us go against what GOD has planned for us. And yes GOD did want blood shed for him but
HE also came down and shed HIS own blood for us to save us
from the wages of our sins, with is death. And that is why Jesus
hung on the cross, HE shed HIS blood for ALL men so our sins
shall be forgiven and we may have eternal life with our HEAVENLY FATHER. And Jesus warned us about the false prophets and HE also predicted that one of His disciples would betray him with a kiss, HE told Peter that Peter would deny HIM three times. HE also stated let he who is without sin cast the first stone...in other words, let no man be the judge of another man. And GOD will not judge us, for he has passed the judgement day to JESUS CHRIST our LORD and SAVIOUR with whom our FATHER is pleased. It is easy for us to take a passage out of the Bible and make it work for ourselves while
damning our brothers and sisters. JESUS said I am the Light of the world and I believe HIM. He said I AM the truth. HE also said HE will be back and I believe HIM. And HE will raise the dead and HE will Rapture the living and we will be taken to a new HEAVEN and a new earth....and there will be no more sorrow. And Jesus didn't say when HE would be back for it is when GOD HIMSELF says it is finished. The Bible is full of examples of GOD'S mercy on us. Get yourself right with the LORD and do not worry about
what others are doing or should be doing. Worry about yourself and your own Salvation. And ask Jesus to help with your struggles on Earth. And listen for the answers even though you may not like the answers.

You can not be a Christian. You certainly have no idea what a Christian is. Christians KNOW that Christ is the one approach to heaven due to the fact that He Himself mentioned that. You certainly have now not learn up on all of the clinical proof for construction and so on. You certainly do NOT understand that the Bible is the WORD of the LIVING God. You have NO suggestion what brainwashing method. As I mentioned above, you're NOT a Christian, recover from it, name your self what you particularly are.....a NON believer...

well see? Fundy Christian believe they know "The Truth". this "The Truth" trumps the truth, including any historical or scientific facts that might diminish the integrity of their "The Truth". "The Truth" is attractive to some folks because it's very very simple. "Believe as I do or suffer in eternal torment". it's the simplistic elitist power implied in their "The Truth" that allows them their arrogance. they can ignore all other truth, blind themselves to fact because with unquestioning belief in their "The Truth" they can imagine themselves safely special and elite, wise, protected and powerful.

PS. the violence and perversion and all the mistakes and contradictions in the Bible are easily magicked away by placing the burden of spiritual understanding on the questioner. apparently one can not understand holy scripture without first receiving a holy spirit which makes the discernment of the meaning of their god's word possible. i guess becoming a Christian increases your reading comprehension skills.

PPS. fundamentalist zealots of all religions enjoy the same kind of delusions.
