I would advise against it. How many normal people do you know that practice that? Probably not a whole lot. Bible says you can open your soul up to demons. Very scary stuff. Do more research. A lot of those places are scams.

No they will just take your money. No one can truly get in touch with the dead. They can however summons spirits which are rarely good. Seek counselling and I'm sure your dad would not have wanted you messing with the occult. Im based in Scotland and often get involved with people after the visit mediums etc.

I have been to a Medium recently and she came up with some amazing details without me putting the words into her mouth. I have a tape from the sitting and since listening to that, I have found more information that rang true. Even so, I am still sceptical. I agree that if someone is really, really, genuine, they would not charge for this service. I do hope that you can find someone to help you but please be careful.

I'm really sorry to say that I agree with Jibba Jabba here.

It's a hugely sensitive question and a very risky one to answer, so I'm sorry if this comes over badly. But if you really want to contact your Dad, I'd say look into your soul, your conscience, your inner strength and your memories. That's where you will still find him.

PS I disagree very very strongly with the idea that you will "open up your soul to demons". I know some people believe that but it really is the most utter nonsense.

I would advise against it. The reason is you will not meet with your father. Once a person dies there is no way they can come to earth again not even called up from the nether regions. What you will comes across will be a familiar spirit which will impersonate your father very well, but do not believe it. It is a lying spirit. Just warning you.

Please accept my condolences on the loss of your father. I lost my mom and one of my sisters a couple of months ago, so I can understand some of what you are going through. I actually do believe that there are people who have gifts, given to them by God, who are capable of communicating with the spirits of those who have passed on, but these people are few, and (I believe), would most likely not cheapen their abilities by making money from it. I would be afraid that someone who claims to have these power and charges people for their "help", would likely be a fraud.

Contact your father on your own. Read Neale Donald Walsch's "Conversations With God." Mediums can help, but finding an authentic one can prove to be very difficult.

Just because someone has spiritual ability does not mean they are your friend. My experience is, they give you a little teaser, and then won't bust a grape without money.
I have my doubts about getting advice from someone who is more concerned with money than me.

Be really cautious! They are expensive and many are charlatans.

I think you could your invest your money wisely by seeing a good bereavement counsellor.

I am a christian and I believe its possible to speak to the dead but its utterly forbidden in the bible so please be careful when dealing with the unknown. It can be dangerous and painful.
