How about drop a few big hints in an email, that way you have time to gather your thougts and re write it twenty times if need be. Tell her something that she will like, remember an outfit you saw her in, the way she smiles, walks or talks. Maybe the way her laugh sounds...and how it makes your day...I am a girl and would reccomend against the love word, she will get the hint but won't be scared off...plus, the obvious, you won't have to look at her and get all toung tied....good luck.

Depends on your relationship. If you are dating already, simply tell her during some quiet time together. If you are friends, try asking her on an honest to goodness date (being sure to use the word "date"), then show up with flowers. If you really don't know each other well, you are probably in lust not love.

Maybe in a note would work for you. Either way, you shouldnt be embarassed or intimidated. Any girl (or guy) that finds out someone likes her would be flattered. If they dont return the feelings, so be it. Move on cause that means you were meant for someone better.

The best person is to ask is your mom. If you see the girl in school you could find out if you have some intereast in common , like say, movies. Ask her if she has seen a certain movie and ask her what she thought about it. Ask her questions about herself. people like to talk about themselves.
If you watch sports at school pehaps she'd like to join you and your friends at a game.
