cause i hugged this guy i was dating, and did not feel anything
like i guess usually u feel a need or want to get on with somethin, but it felt quite hollow.... any opinions or advice

Lost that lovin' feeling eh?
Happened to me after 4 months of dating. First of all, don't blame yourself or the guy. It's neither of your faults. You just lost you interest because in the end, he wasn't your type. He probably didn't do anything in particular to make you lose it, it just happens.
Second, this means its time to move on. Now you might start second guessing yourself on this, but think about it in the long run-this is going to come back again. No point in wasting either of your time, is there? Just sit down with him and tell him you think he's great but that you don't feel anything when you're with him anymore. MAKE SURE to tell him that it wasn't anything he did wrong. He was a great guy but you guess the chemistry just wasn't there.
It's not always easy and the girl I was with got insulted that I got over her so easily, etc. We still don't talk. If you are honest and upfront with him, then it will be ok.

If you didn't feel what you expected to feel, then you might want to decide WHAT you DID feel. You couldn't have felt "nothing". You had your arms wrapped around another human being!
Also, you might want to assess how important it is to feel something in a hug, in correlation with the feelings you've just had throughout the whole date experience beforehand.
Forgive me for being so blunt Darling, but basing your whole assessment of the experience on ONE teeny-weeny hug is a little shallow. Good luck!

It means that thats nice, and he is a nice guy, But u need someone who can do somethin for u, maybe next time go out with someone who u know gets u goin

some people are cuddlers, some people aint, personally i love cuddles!, keep trying, he might loosen up at it in a little while :o)

maybe that time was not good.. maybe he had something going on with him that you did not know.. and he was worrying about it... so...just keep at it.. talk and good luck
