my boyfriend will tell me that he loves me all the time, I can't say it back because I'm not 100% sure that I do (we've only been together for 1 month). I am just wondering what kind of response I could give him other than the awkward silence that occurs now.

Just tell him that you appreciate him telling you that, but that it makes you uncomfortable because you haven't reached this point yet. Ask him not to say it anymore until your ready to tell him. After only a month you sound very smart not to jump in and say it. I feel people throw that phrase around too loosely anyway. Love is not a feeling, love is an action word and if he "loves" you, he will stop telling you that when you ask him to.

when he says it, smile, give him a hug, and casually change the subject.... if you are having a hard time, and do not feel this is a future for the two of you though, I would call it quits - if you are just unsure because you haven't been together very long then I would do the smile, hugging, and changing the subject.
