I have to credit Jamie Cox, one of my professors from Embry-Riddle with this question. I modified it to be more specific.

If, starting at this point, either the concept of Religion or the concept of Science was erased from human minds, which would you prefer it be?

By religion, I mean the search, desire for, or the belief of the existance of (a) higher power(s).

By science, I mean the search for new and better technology and improvement of old tech.

There is no best answer, I will not choose one.

Modification. By science I want to add the pursuit of knowledge using PHYSICAL PROOF.

Neither the two work together. It has been a mistake of the midevil churches to dismiss science but now it has been proven
that science only prooves the intelligent design of God.

Without Religion.

Religion really causes more harm than good. It is not necessary.

This questions assumes that if a god existed, science wouldn't find it. The only reason that religion hangs around is that people want there to be a being "up there" with a plan for everything. There really is no evidence of there being one. There is plenty of evidence, from history to psychology, that explains why people believe in such things and why gods don't really exist.

Hello, good question.

I am a Muslim, and in Quran science is mentioned more than once.

However, I would choose the science. Because science will lead to Islam, as I believe.

When people go deep in science, they will start thinking about this universe, how it is integrated, and how it is working. And when you look at creatures, it will lead to knowing they have something in common, that is they are all created by one Creator. Who is Allah.

That is my point.

Goodluck

Good question! I'm counting on science to provide answers (or at least reasonable and workable theories) to the mysteries of life and the universe because religion has failed to provide satisfactory answers for me.

Science is not just about improving technology, so I can not answer this given that definition.

Science.

However from my perspective it is not possible to separate the two. God set up the laws that govern the Universe and He exists within them.

You have to have faith to take a breath, or walk out your door and turn the key in your ignition.

Science has already proved the existence of spiritual concepts.
The only problems lie in your puny little minds!
