I've been researching Dr. McDougall and his thoughts on MS. Has anyone doing or has done his meal plan before? What are your thoughts? Also, the information I have found, he's not very encouraging with his prognosis on MS where are more Drs are. He states that most MS sufferers will either be needing a cane or wheelchair by 10 years after diagnosis. I'm really wanting to find a good health plan to help me not only with my MS, but weight loss. All information would be greatly appricated. Thank you

I just read his 12-day diet plan, and guess what? Im a vegetarian and what ever he is doing to people is horribily wrong! I just want you to eat whatever you like to eat, but I must warn to avoid these fats that are harmful to you. They are:

-Trans fats, partially hydrogenated oils, saturated fats read these from the side panels.
-No red or limited red meat that's pork and beef, turkey, goose, or buffalo.
-You can still eat chicken and fish as long its not grilled or fried contains lots of oils and grease.
-Dont try to go McDonalds try Subway some 7" sandwiches or the Subway's sandwiches of trans fats are low as 0.5 grams, yoi can still eat its a little bit.
-You eat calcium products but not like whole milk or cottage cheese. Look for labels for low fat ot fat free.
-Eat lots of veggies and fruits that 3-5 a day thing.
-Exercise an hour day.

I dont want you to starve or end up cripple. So if you know anybody whose going on The Mcdougall Plan. REfer to this part of the page or try something else.

I dont want anybody dieing from that stupid guy or that moronic plan. Soory The Mcdougall Plan, but you're too strict on them people who need help on weight loss.

Don't cheat yourself. (soory if this is too long, future goal: health educator at an elementary school)
