I'm sure you'll get plenty of answers to the tune of "you're not inhaling the water while you swim." Really though, ozone is not irritating to the lungs in normal quantities. In fact, you breathe it all the time and probably don't know it! Ozone has a very unique pungent smell to it, and you will smell it around electrical equipment that is making open sparks. It is also the smell that people use to identify electrical fires. If you get close enough to most computer screens and TVs (tube style, not flat), you can smell it near the glass on the screen!
