My Jack Russel has made it a full time job for her to follow her ( Jack and Corgy) babies around and eat their poop is that normal?

A female dog will eat pup poop if the pups are still dependant on her up to the time she weans them.The reason for this is to keep the pup's surroundings clean.This is nature for most animals.

Yes, its an animal instinct in females. My female does it and she is spayed. It's called coprophagia, and there are a few treatments out there, but its a lifelong treatment thing. There is a pill you can get from the vet that you give to the dog whose poop is being eaten (but its on the expensive side), you can go into the yard, pick up a few pieces of poop and put tabasco inside them and put them back in the yard, this might deter the dog for a little while, but its necessarily permanent. You can also sprinkle meat tenderizer on the dogs fod whose poop is being eaten. This breaks down the food in a different way and makes it undesirable for the momma to eat the poop, but it adds a significant amount of salt to the dog's diet, so its not necessarily the best thing to do. Talk to your vet about which option will work for you.
And you might not even need to take action if you aren't keeping the pups. Remember its a instinctual behavior, and don't go crazy punishing your dog, she can't help it.

Yes. When a mother has puppies she eats their poop to keep the area clean and smell down in case of predators. Dogs don't wipe up with rags and will eat the poop. She should stop once the puppies are old enough not to go where they sleep.

Yes it's normal. It stems from wild wolves etc. who clean up after their puppies to keep the den clean for their babies. Maybe you should learn more about it before you breed your dog again

i don't think that is normal. You should pick up the poop as soon as it is dropped, or stop your dog from getting near it. dogs are atracted to gross things and it smells good to them but if they eat too too much it is bad for them so stop him from eating it.
