It depends which church - for the Church of England - when I got married 2 years ago, one of us had to be christened in the church. The Roman Catholic church is a definite 'yes' for both of you. Other (non-comformist churches) like the Baptists or Methodists or Congregationalists don't make it a requirement at all.

But if its the CHurch of England you want to get married in, each individual vicar can have their own 'take' on it, so do get in touch with them before deciding!

Unless the law has changed since i first got married then yes,My x and i were both not christened before we got married, when we approached the vicar, he said that one of us had to be christened else he wouldn't be able to marry us.. so i decided to get christened and my x opted out.. i have since changed my beliefs and am not christian

Usually yes, also some vicars will not marry you in church if you have not been confirmed as well as christened.

The individual churches set their own rules - i you are interested in marrying in a certain church, give them a call and ask :)
I married in a Catholic Church, despite not being Catholic as my husband is, and his family are active members of the Church.

No but why would you want to marry in church if you are not a christian? There are some lovely wedding venues around!

Is it not best to be true to your beliefs?
