There are people who claim to have God in their life that do in fact lack morality - look at the idiots who attack abortion clinics and kill the doctors in the name of God. Just goes to show that hypocrisy is still alive and well within the ranks of Christianity.

if you don't have morals and guidance in your life, then you will lack morals and guidance. if you don't have God, you lack God.
God is love. If you lack God, you lack love. And morals and guidance are thus worthless, for without love, they are like a skin and veins, without a skeleton and muscles.

All i can say is if I did not have God in my life, I would not be where I am now. Because I thought that I was happy and satisfied with my life before I invited Jesus into it, and now I see that what I had before was nothing.

Nope. Personally, I would be highly suspicious of someone who did the 'right thing' not because it was the 'right thing', but because they thought that they would be punished after they died if they didn't. If you're only doing it to avoid eternal punishment, then you're not a good person.
