Well I used to live there and we could not swim at the beach because of cold, roughness and shark infested.

Speaking from experience, no the beaches were not the reason I wanted to move here. I have been here for 14 years now and I regret even making the move. I think I have been to the beach 20 times in the last 14 years.. Cali, is not what it is made out to be.

i crave the beach so bad it hurts. lol. i was raised in santa barbara, and spent a lot of time at the beach. i've lived in the mountains of northern cali for over 10 years now...i only get to the coast about once a year or every other year now. my fav beach places up north are cresent city, ca, brookings harbor, oregon, and gold beach in oregon, but i'll take any beach i can get to. surf's up dudes. lol.

I am 54 years old, and was born and raised here in California. I HATE the beach. I do not like the sand in everything! I do not like the trouble makers that hang out at the beaches. More and more the gang Homies hang out there and cause trouble. I do not crave it one little bit.

No I do not want to live there - I did live in San Diego and LA before and I do crave the beaches.
What I do not crave is the traffic, cost of living, the crowds

Yeah, I do because of the AH-MAZING green flash (yup, I know what that is). I mean, I love my old home in New York, but it would be fantabulous to move there!!!!!!!!
