I'm from England and it's 16 here, but i was wondering what it is in other countries like America and Australia.

IN the US it varies by state. Here in California it is 18 years. In some others it is as low as 16 years.

Ok every time I tell my age here people get real shocked. I have never had sex but I have a few girl friends who have plus what I learned in health class and the birds and bees class in the 5th grade. Also what I learned from Yahoo answers (its a real education here lol lol). I think if two kids the same age have sex they can at any age (as long as their parents dont find out lol lol).
There are three types of sex. One is when the guy puts his thingie inside the girls treasure chest lol lol and than promises to pull it out before all his stuff comes shooting out. That's real risky because of stds and getting pregnant. The two girls I know who do it say boys dont want to pull it out and dont want to use a condom.
Another thing to do that is sex is to kiss a boys thingie and he kisses your treasure chest. That is sex too but wont get you pregnant but is still risky for stds.
The last thing is to lie next to each other and massage each other. That is probably not sex. Oh ya one more thing. You can be by your self and put pressure down there while dreaming about your special person alone in your own bed. That's what I do. That's not sex and their is no legal age. Actually I learned that there is no legal age if the two people are the same age.

In the US it depends on the State. There's also what is called "Statuatory Rape", which also varies by State.
In Connecticut, legal age is 16, but if a 16 year old and an 18 year old have sex, it's considered Stat Rape.
In Venezuela I believe it's 14, while I think it's also 16 in Italy.

that depends on the state. Some states consider underage to be 18; some 16; and 15. You have to review the laws of each state.

Many misinformed people here in America will tell you that it's 18 in all states, which is not true--in some states it is 16.

Honestly, I did not know that there was a "legal" age for someone to have sex. Honestly, I think it is when you are married or when you are completely devoted to someone. But whether you put a age on it or don't, kids are going to do it. No one will stop them unless you tie them to their room & keep tabs on them 24/7. Go where they go and etc. It is like drugs & sex. Kids no matter what age, will get it if they want it. No one can stop them. So really.. age is just a number.

If you are over the age of 18 and have sex with someone under 18, you can get arrested for "statuatory rape". Best to wait until you are married.
