Attend social gatherings, a gym, join a volleyball team, go hiking, go do outdoors stuff where there's lots of people. If you're at a bar, whatever you do, DON'T grab them out of the blue while they are walking. .that's a turn off and the girl doesn't know how to react when that happens. Just approach her and say hello, how are you? How are you enjoying your night/evening? and she will either smile and continue the conversation or turn her "body away" and show her disinterest. You have nothing to lose. Just remember, to keep smiling and stay positive. No one wants someone who's miserable and pessimistic (who do you spell pessimistic?? ) . All the best and keep smiling !

The best way to meet and approach single women is to go up to them whenever you are in a store or something. Just make a comment to them about something. Eventually one of them will maintain a conversation with you. This is when you make your move: Say that she seems really interesting or something to that effect and then give her your number.

Just do something. Women are everywhere, so just get out of the house and do something. You will meet women and if you are a decent person, things will start to happen. It is called the 'proximity principle', getting close to people and having dialogue with them is most of the battle.

Are you trying to meet for a meaningful relationship, or just a shag?
If it's the former, try talking to her in anyplace that isn't a pub/club.
If it's the latter, then I guess you could try scraping up one of the p1$$ed ones off the floor in your local pub on any Saturday night, at least she wouldn't remember your username in the morning :))

go to a club/pub...these are places where women dont mind being chatted to so much
see a girl you like, smile at her, nod ur head and say y'ite? judge by her response whether to go and talk to her or not.
start convos that are just casual like, "hard to get served in here aint it...they take ages!"
