His doctor said to give him milk, well he absolutly refuses to drink it.He throws his bottle, he throws his sippy cup, he pushes them out of my hands, after only a sip. I weaned him onto it first, from formula. What other things could I try, maybe warming it?

You could try other types of calcium. Cheese, yogurt, etc.
My son didn't like milk unless we added strawberry syrup.
You could also make him milk shakes or smoothies. yum!

Try warming it up. it isnt unusual for one year olds to dislike milk at first. I had to warm the milk for BOTH my boys at first, they were used to the formula. Also, try mixing it with formula again do 1/2 water 1/2 milk and start to SLOWLY decrease the water and increase the milk. If he still wont drink cows milk try soy milk. He may prefer the taste of it.

There is a toddler formula that he may like better than regular milk. Look in the same formula aisle and you should see the formula for toddlers! I'm not sure if it tastes any different but he will see you make it like all the other times...

Just give him a little everyday. His taste buds will adjust to it. It took my son 2 weeks.

my brother was similar when he was younger, until my grandma started him on chocolate milk . . . I would say try different flavors, but watch the amount of sugar that it contains . . . or you could try Pediasure . . .
