If you're mad at him its no wonder he's biting you. Dogs pick up on our feelings towards them. You have to spend a lot of time persevering with your training of your dog. Use a strong, firm voice, and never give up. Don't hit your dog, he will most likely become hand-shy or aggressive even further. And DONT make him mad, breaking a dogs temper should NEVER be done.

Find a dog obedience class near you.

Take it easy with the punishment, sometimes all that does is make him scared of you, and don't ever hold back with positive reinforcement - give him lots of praise, treats, attention when he is good and ignore him when he is bad. Otherwise, he might act up because he knows that will get a reaction out of you. Obedience class will help too, basically because they show you how to be the boss and show your dog how to follow the boss.
Good luck!

You should really try to understand your dog first. Your dog doesn't listen to you because you're not speaking his language. When he starts getting an attitude problem you just tell him "You best be behavin yoself Son" in a stern voice. And if your dog bites you well, he's just saying you taste good.

well u cannot take the "biting" part all negatively it can also be that he may be trying to play with you or gets excited when he see you each time.he may be fond of you.he just needs to be trained that you have to decide whether to take him to classes or if you have some patience remained then train him urself.
and try staying with him too long so that when his excitement vanishes he sits calmly and gets used of it.also u can do your work while he is around .i am sure this gonna help atleast i hope so.
gud luck take care

Honestly find a dog behaviorist your dog is considered dangerous right now no matter how large or small he is. If you don't find a behaviorist things will progress and he may even be euthanized if he bites other people and they report it.

Do you love your dog? Do you show it? He is picking up on your bad feelings about him and that makes him bite you and act bad. try not letting him get to you, show him love whatever he does, if he keeps acting up with no improvements call the vet and see what he or she says. hope you see results.

Pay a trainer to come and work with you and your dog. If you don't want to put that type of investment into him, then put an add in the paper and give him to someone who will.
