I'm a pro-choice Atheist who thinks every abortion should be legal, but I will call it like I see it, I think every abortion is wrong and immorral, scientifically I believe human life begins at conception.

I say again my position, that in America that the procedure should be legal, because I don't think Government should make these decisions,

So, this question is specific, when does Life begin, why do you feel that way.

My answer is at conception and I base this on a scientific definition. I understand there are more than one definition.

Now that I've asked the abortion question, I am prepared to read the onslaught of answers of people who will disagree with me.

Life begins at conception in my opinion.
I am also going to have to agree with you on your opion of abortion. It a free choice but one that I would never make. I would give my life to save the life of a child inside of me.

I met a living saint who stated that the Atman, soul, takes its seat in the body during the 5th month of pregnancy. I believe until then the fetus is but a growth of flesh on its mothers body, however it is being prepared for receiving the atman and I do not believe in abortion except as emergency measure to save mothers life if child cannot be saved. had i gotten my way,my underage daughter would have had abortion and I would not have the beautiful Grand son who now has three beautiful children, thank God my daughter was smarter than I was.I do support pro choice if a fool wishes it.

Read Levitcus 17;11,14. Life is in the blood and it takes 14 days (scientifically) from conception for the fetus to have blood. So I don't feel it is taking a life until after 14 days. I am Christian and think abortion is terrible but Ialso am pro-choice. I do not feel that the government nor the religious right nuts should have the right to impose their beliefs on others.

To me, life literally begins at birth, but I feel that any abortion should be before 8 weeks after conception. That's when it actually goes from an embryo to a fetus.

Government makes decisions based on the monetary value and popularity of their laws and regulations, or is that the church? I get the two confused.

Is life a science? You base your idea on a scientific definition. Hey maybe you do have something there!

I will give you the most honest answer I can, and that is I don't know. Being as I would never be able to conceive, it is not something I've ever really thought about despite being pro-choice. Probably not much of an answer, but it's the truth.

Your opinions on this matter are very similar to mine, if not exact. You'll get no disagreement from me.
