We've been together for more than a year. These past couple of months she's been extremely busy and I got upset with her when I found out she had to go on a trip this weekend with this club that shes in and won't be spending time with me. We don't spend much time together anymore because she's been so busy and I learned that if I love her i'm just going to have ot be patient with this... let her study, work, and do what she has to do.... but i know this now... before she left i didn't... and her train gets back tommorrow really early and so i want to do something romantic to make her smile... i owe her alot and shes everything to me... i want to make her happy... but it's 1:30 at night. Flower shops closed... not to mention i dont know any in the area... so I thought outside the box... i cut rose petals out of construction paper.... over 100, and place them around the room n wrote her a love letter; the petals take her to it. I did this last night. Shell be home soon. What do u think?

It sounds very sweet and romantic. She should appreciate the time and effort you've put into it. I hope you wrote in your love letter to her all that you have said here about now you understand about work, studying etc. If I was your girl I would smile for a long time to come. It would be very cool if you let us know how she reacted. You sound like a real special kind of guy and I wish there were more MEN like you!!

I give you an A+ for cutting rose petals... she should appreciate your effort...

the best gift you can give her is to let her live out her goals in life... many men do have a tendency to interfer with the gf/wife careers and outside activities because they simply want them home... she'll love you more for your support and the special things you do when she gets home... givesher a lot to look forward to ... hope this helps,,,

I think that is a great start. It also shows and proves that you want to support her and work it out. You're definitely on the right track. If she really loves you, she will appreciate your effort. Just keep it up. Try going out with friends and family and having fun so you won't miss her so much. Be there for her and tough it out. Good luck.

I think you have done good. She will be flattered that you went through all this effort just for her. Hopefully it will help bring the two of you closer together.
